"Israeli" military intelligence expects Hizbullah attack in the near future

Head of "Israeli" Military Intelligence General Amos Yedlin informed the "Israeli" cabinet during its meeting yesterday of the possibility that Hizbullah may carry out an attack in the near future against the "Israeli" borders with Lebanon or the Gaza Strip.
"The pretext for such attacks will be issues relating to the Shibaa Farms, the village of Ghajar and the assassination of Hizbullah military official Imad Mognieh," Yedlin told the cabinet.
The "Israeli" media quoted Yedlin as saying that Syria managed to end its international isolation, but it is still supporting Hizbullah in order to increase its military strength.
"Syria is taking steps to approach the western world, as was obvious during the Mediterranean Union Summit in Paris, but it is also still approaching terrorist [regimes] such as Iran," he added.
Yesterday, US daily The New York Times quoted "Israeli" Ambassador to the UN
Dan Gillerman as saying that Iran might deliver weapons of mass destruction to Hizbullah and Hamas to be used against "Israel".
Gillerman said he is not concerned about a "stupid Iranian decision" to launch a missile against "Israel", "but the fact that they will not regret providing terrorist organizations such as Hamas and Hizbullah with weapons of mass destruction."
