Imam Khamenei: Iran Stronger than 40 Years Ago

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution His Eminence Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei stressed Iran’s might in the face of enemies noting that “unlike the adversaries’ front that has grown weaker, the Islamic Republic is stronger now than it was four decades ago.”

“Today, the confrontation between the fronts of the truth and falsehood is the same as their confrontation in the era of the great divine prophets and the era of the (Shiite) imams,” Imam Khamenei said in a meeting with religious eulogists in Tehran on Tuesday, held on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad’s daughter Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra [PBUH].

He further highlighted “Just as the front of falsehood was destroyed in that era despite the large number of its members and extent of its equipment, today, the same fate awaits the front that has stood against the Islamic Revolution and thus one should not be afraid of the enemy.”

“Over the past forty years, the enemies have stood with all their power and capabilities against the Islamic Revolution…,” Imam Khamenei stated.

However, the Leader added, the Iranian nation, with reliance on God, can overcome the enemy plots.

Imam Khamenei went on to say that the Iranian nation is now stronger than ever while the enemy front is weaker than in the past.
