Suleiman: The joy of liberation south Lebanon and our detainees will be complete as ... we hope to see the liberation of all Lebanese lands... and the return of Palestinians to their land, as UN resolutions ordain.
-I thank all those who worked for the return of our heroic resistors, both living and martyred. I welcome our brave fighters ... and thank them, and the solidarity of their families.
-The Lebanese have proved that they are tenacious when it comes to their freedom and defending their freedom, even if it leads to martyrdom.
-Those who emigrated due to economic difficulties, or who were forced out ... will turn a new page with their nation.
-Those missing must return, and their fate must be uncovered, along with the martyrs Francois Hajj and Rafik Hariri, who must be so happy to see this day.
-With your return today, Lebanon looks forward to welcoming all its sons home.
-I say to Samir Kantar and [his fellow detainees]: it is your right to be proud of your nation and your army.
-As for those who feel like strangers in their own country, for whatever reason, I say to them: your country needs you, and leaving is a loss to you and your country.
