Hizbullah official in South Lebanon Sheikh Nabil Qaouk said that the upcoming prisoner swap between "Israel" and Hizbullah constitutes a new victory for the Resistance and its strategy to liberate and defend Lebanon.
"The deal also proves "Israel's" military and political failure in facing the Resistance," Qaouk said.
He also noted that "the enemy's government's approval of the deal according to the Resistance's conditions is an official "Israeli" recognition of its failure in achieving any of its objectives of the 2006 July War."
"The Resistance managed, in spite of all internal problems, to strengthen its political and military capacities. The Resistance has become stronger than it was in July 2006," he added.
Qaouk said that the opposition's participation in the national dialogue is based on the successful experience of the Resistance.
"Hizbullah is ready for a dialogue that will not take place under the influence of the US or any foreign parties, and will not be influenced by UN Security Council Resolution 1559."
"Dialogue must be aimed at officially recognizing the Resistance's national achievement," Qaouk said.
