Preparations for victory celebrations of "Operation Al-Redwan" is going on a fast pace in Lebanon as the whole country is readying to welcome its heroes who have been in ‘Israeli' jails for a long time in the Israeli swap deal with Hizbullah.
On Tuesday, the ‘Israeli' government is expected to ratify "Al-Redwan Operation", which will commence at 9 am Wednesday.
‘Israeli' Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, who returned from Paris on Monday night, announced before taking off that the report delivered by Hizbullah on the fate of missing ‘Israeli' army navigator Ron Arad was "insufficient".
Hizbullah supporters set up a "triumphal arch" near the Naqura crossing, where the exchange is scheduled to take place - Hizbullah fighters and martyrs' bodies in return for captured ‘Israeli' occupation soldiers Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser.
The yellow arch, which bears the pictures of assassinated Hizbullah military commander Imad Moghniyeh (Haj Redwan), has been erected in several places in southern Lebanon. Hizbullah flags and victory photos have been hung along the Lebanese coastal highway connecting between Naqura and Sidon.
Lebanese media have reported that the celebrations will be held in three places - in Naqura, upon receiving the bodies of some 200 martyrs to be handed over by ‘Israel'; in Beirut's international airport, where five Lebanese detainees - including detainee Samir Kintar - will arrive via helicopter; and in Beirut's Dahiyeh quarter (Southern Suburb), which will host a mass rally including a speech by Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
The resistance group has already sent many of the group's members to southern Lebanon to work on the logistic preparations for the "popular" celebrations expected to be held in Lebanon. Lebanon is expected to hold a state ceremony at the Beirut airport, which will be attended by heads of the government and senior politicians.
