Hezbollah Slams the Unjust Sentence against Bahrain’s Opposition Leader, Companions

Hezbollah issued the following statement:

Hezbollah strongly denounces the unjust life sentence issued by the so-called Bahraini court of cassation against the opposition leader His Eminence Sheikh Ali Salman and two former MPS Sheikh Hassan Sultan and Ali al-Aswad, under the accusation of “communicating with Qatar,” and finds it a persistence in the aggressive practices against the honorable Bahraini people.

Hezbollah considers that the Bahraini regime, instead of correcting its mistakes, is practicing more recklessness and political maliciousness against the Bahraini people who are demanding their rights.

The fake accusations brought by the court against Sheikh Ali Salman and his companions would never weaken the free people of Bahrain, but would rather increase their solidity and insistence to adhere to their legitimate rights and noble goals.

Hezbollah also considers that the true path towards solving the crisis in Bahrain starts from releasing political prisoners and stopping the oppression against nationals, in addition to adopting dialogue as the only way to solve the current problems afar from neighboring dictations.
