Rouhani Stresses: Iran Not Afraid of Sanctions

Iran is not afraid of sanctions, won't retreat and won't let go of its goals, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani announced from Gorgan, Golestan Province, northern Iran, on Tuesday.

'Iran is in a psychological and economic war; we are familiar with it,' Rouhani said at the meeting of Administrative Council of Golestan.

“Like the Imposed War, this economic war has been imposed on us but we will stand,” he added.

Earlier on Monday, addressing a gathering of Shia and Sunni scholars in Golestan Province, Rouhani said that the Iranian nation will resolutely respond to the enemies of the Islamic Revolution on the national day of 22 Bahman [February 11], the anniversary of the revolution when Iranian nation pour to the streets and manifest their support for the Islamic Republic of Iran.
