Iran’s Basij Cmdr.: When Americans Fail, They Resort to Foolish Spectacles

Commenting on an anti-Iran conference held in Poland, Brigadier General Gholamhossein Gheybparvar, said that when American “schemes fail, they resort to such foolish spectacles."

The head of Iran’s Volunteer Basij Forces made the comments in an exclusive interview with al-Ahed News Website.

"In the past, the Americans have made such spectacles. But going back in history, we did not expect such a move by Poland towards Iran. We will not reproach the Poles. However, Polish officials should have adopted a more logical stance," Brigadier General Gheybparvar told al-Ahed. "We know that Polish politicians are allied with the leaders of the American regime."

"We are not worried about such measures because in the past 40 years we have seen plenty of such measures. The Islamic revolution is steadfast and will continue to be steadfast," he said.

Regarding Iran's presence in the Atlantic and the country’s defensive force, Brigadier General Gheybparvar stated that "no one can question the power of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

“Iran has demonstrated its capabilities in various fields. Today, Iran is a regional power. It is natural that Iran be present in the mentioned places and plays a positive role as it did in the past," he concluded.
