In the Saudi kingdom of Mohammad bin Salman, the unwise prince who ordered that dissent journalist Jamal Khashoggi be chopped and dismembered for speaking up against his regime, it is –for him- normal to attack peaceful activists “until death.”

Amid the latest shows of the Saudi crackdown against the Shia population in al-Qatif eastern province, the regime’s forces blockaded houses in a residential area, opening medium and heavy fire on the buildings.

The raid that targeted the civilian-populated area resulted in robbery, damage of houses and most importantly the martyrdom and injury of at least seven activists.

Meanwhile, social media users reported confrontations, which included mortar attacks and shooting in the village of Umm al-Hamam on Monday, and have even identified some of those martyrs and injured.

  • Abdul Mohsen al-Aswad
  • Ammar Nasser Al Abu Abdallah
  • Ali Hassan Al Abu Abdallah
  • Abdul Mohsen Al Abu Abdallah
  • Yahya Zakariya Al Ammar
  • Mohammad Hussein Shebib
  • Adel Jaafar Tuhaifah

According to local sources, the regime’s forces surrounded the village for about 15 hours. They stormed a number of rural houses, under the pretext that they were searching for a number of wanted people.
