Suicide attackers hit the headquarters of Libya's foreign ministry in Tripoli, opening fire before blowing themselves up inside, according to a security source.
In further details, a security official and an employee of the ministry were killed in the attack on Tuesday.
One of the three attackers was killed by the ministry's guards while two others blew themselves up.
Libya's health ministry stated that at least nine people were wounded in the attack, which is suspected to have been carried out by Daesh [the Arabic acronym for terrorist ‘ISIS/ISIL’ group], according to a security source, who requested not to be named.
