Yemen warring parties are meeting for a third day of talks in the Swedish capital of Stockholm to halt the country's catastrophic four-year war.

Both delegations representing the regime of former Yemeni President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi and the Ansarullah revolutionaries say they are striving for peace.

The Ansarullah delegation said talks were divided into five main sections, including discussions on a political framework and the opening of the airport in the capital of Sanaa for aid.

The talks opened Thursday on an upbeat note, with both parties agreeing to a broad prisoner swap, boosting hopes that the talks would not deteriorate into further violence as in the past.

Meanwhile, UN officials sought to downplay expectations surrounding the talks, saying they don't foresee rapid progress toward a political settlement.
