Hezbollah Congratulates Lebanese on Independence Day, Urges Unity

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Independence Day, Hezbollah issued the following statement:

Hezbollah congratulates all the Lebanese on the 75th anniversary of the Independence Day.

It further pays tribute to the martyrs, who sacrificed their lives to liberate the homeland and fought the colonists, occupiers and takfirist. Thus, they expelled them from our country.

Hezbollah praises the cohesion of the army, people and resistance, which led to the 2000 liberation, preserved it  in 2006 and completed it by eliminating the Takfiris in 2017.

Hezbollah believes that this national occasion requires all Lebanese to unite and cooperate to preserve this independence by adhering to the strength of Lebanon resembled by its army, people, and resistance.

Hezbollah further urges the Lebanese to preserve national unity and coexistence.
