Zionist war minister Avigdor Lieberman sparked resignation rumors on Wednesday after calling a special meeting of his “Yisrael Beytenu” party at noon to be followed by a statement to the press on the heels of a controversial ceasefire with Hamas resistance movement in Gaza.

Relatively, a senior cabinet member told Channel 10 news that Lieberman is expected to step down following weeks of reported disagreement with Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over dealing with ongoing situation on the Gaza border.

“He is currently choosing between the end of his career if he stays in his position, and a slight chance of rehabilitating his public image if he resigns,” the channel quoted the unnamed minister as saying.

After more than six hours of deliberations on Tuesday, the Zionist regime agreed to a ceasefire to bring to an end the major confrontation with the Palestinian resistance that saw over 460 rockets fired into the occupied territory in a 25-hour bombardment.
