The besieged Gaza Strip continues to endure barbaric “Israeli” airstrikes. According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, as many as 6 Palestinians – among them a child – have been martyred and about 25 others injured since the “Israeli” Occupation Forces [IOF] started shelling Gaza on Monday.

Despite the attacks, senior Hamas leader, Ismail Radwan, told Al-Ahed that “Palestine and the Palestinians in Gaza will not yield.”

“They will continue to fight the ‘Israeli’ aggression,” Radwan said.

Amid the recent escalation, the “Israeli” entity has decided to halt contacts with mediators, namely the UN and Egypt, on the ceasefire in Gaza due to rocket attacks.

“We don’t really care much about that!” Radwan exclaimed, referring to the entity’s halting of international mediation.

“‘Israel’ is just bluffing,” he added.

He went on to say that “[‘Israel’] is unable to continue fighting this war, even though it possesses military capabilities greater than the Resistance’s humble capabilities”.

“We will surprise the enemy with our steadfastness and resolution,” the senior Hamas official said, explaining that the Resistance will surprise the “Israeli” entity with its “qualitative military capabilities and by expanding the target scope.” He points to the retaliatory strike on a bus carrying “Israeli” forces as an example.

On Tuesday, Hamas released a video of a guided-missile strike on the bus in the city of Jabalia, north of Gaza City.

The Resistance group’s military wing, Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, said it had used a Kornet man-portable anti-tank missile to target the military bus, adding that all its occupants had died during the retaliatory operation.

The “Israeli” military said some 300 rockets were fired by the Palestinian Resistance throughout Monday into the occupied southern territories.

Radwan concluded that “Gaza will not stand alone! Resistance factions will rise in a wide front against the Zionist enemy”.

On a similar note, Hamas sources announced that “the message has been received by the enemy leaders; and the coming hours will be dealt with depending on the enemy’s practices”.
