Sayyed Nasrallah Receives Bassil: Gov’t Formation on Top

Hezbollah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah met the head of the Free Patriotic Movement, Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil, in the presence of Hajj Wafiq Safa.

The conferees discussed the government’s formation and the ways to resolve the obstacles hindering the formation process on the basis of objective and practical criteria.

The discussion tackled a number of internal issues, in which the sides agreed that national unity must be fortified and that the state should not be dragged into sectarian tension or incitement.

The regional situation and the importance of enhancing stability in Lebanon were also discussed in order to meet any regional developments.
