The Zionist entity has a plan to spend aroung $755 million to expand the illegal Ma’aleh Adumim settlement by 20,000 new settler units within the next 10 years.

Construction of all but 470 units in the plan still needs bureaucratic and prime ministerial approvals.

The completion of 20,000 new illegal settler units for Ma’aleh Adumim could more than triple the size of the settlement.

With the signing of the agreement, it would be possible to commence the building of 470 settler units, while the remaining ones, which make up over 19,500 units, are subjected to approval of political parties.

The occupying Zionist entity decided to confiscate thousands of square meters of private Palestinian land to expand a road near occupied al-Quds.

Ma’aleh Adumim is the third largest settlement in terms of population, occupying a large swath of land deep inside the occupied West Bank’s al-Quds district.

The “Israeli” regime occupied the West Bank and East al-Quds during the Six-Day War in 1967. It later annexed East al-Quds in a move not recognized by the international community.

Ever since, the Tel Aviv regime has been setting up illegal settlements in the occupied territories and stepping up “security” measures in occupied al-Quds.
