Kushner in ’Israel’, Jordanian King to Meet Trump

US President Donald Trump's adviser Jared Kushner and special envoy Jason Greenblatt are due to arrive into the Zionsit entity on Friday which is the last stop on their Middle East tour.

Kushner and Greenblatt met on Thursday with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in Cairo and with Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in Qatar where they discussed increasing cooperation.

Their trip was kicked off with a visit to Jordan where they met King Abdullah II and Wednesday they traveled to Saudi Arabia to meet Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Although two Middle East envoy's trip to the Middle East revolves around Gaza and the so-called "peace process" plan, they are not scheduled to meet any Palestinian Authority leaders.

This comes as Jordan's King Abdullah II set off for the United States for talks with Trump on Middle East issues, the palace said.

Accompanied by his wife Rania, the monarch is also scheduled to meet with senior officials from the Trump administration and members of Congress, the palace said in a statement.

His meeting with Trump is expected to take place at the White House on Monday.

The White House claimed in a statement that they would "discuss issues of mutual concern, including terrorism, the threat from Iran and the crisis in Syria, and working towards a lasting "peace" between "Israelis" and Palestinians."
