Nigeria Crackdown: Police Savagely Open Fire on Free Zakzaky Protesters

Reports emerging from Abuja indicated that the Nigerian police opened fire on Monday on Free Zakzaky peaceful protesters, killing at least one and injuring two others, as it continue its crackdown against Shia there.
Meanwhile, further details regarding the attack against protesters demanding the release of Shia leader Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky are still not available.
Since last Friday the police has been poised at killing when they took over the Unity fountain venue of the Daily Free Zakzaky Sit Out, which held peacefully for over 80 consecutive days.
The convener of the Sit Out, Prince Deji Adeyanju was momentarily detained and was freed only after being told that the government was not comfortable with the free Zakzaky campaign.
