Gaza: Hamas Holds Large Military Drill

Palestine's Gaza-based Hamas resistance movement staged a large-scale military drill in the impoverished territory on Sunday.
In further details, the resistance group detonated bombs, launched missiles and fired machine guns in the streets during the 24-hour exercise.
The drill comes amid tensions on Gaza's border with the "Israeli" occupation entity.
Consequently, On Sunday night, air raid sirens sounded across southern of the occupied territories.
The sirens and Iron Dome missiles were triggered by machine gun fire in the Gaza Strip.
However, despite the fact that Hamas warned Zionist settlers ahead of the drill," the "Israeli" military targeted two observation posts in the northern Gaza Strip.
Hamas lashed out against the "Israeli" response, stressing that the occupation entity is aggravating tensions in the already unstable enclave.
Sunday's incident comes amid rising tensions across the occupied Palestinian territories, which reached an unprecedented level following US President Donald Trump's recognition of the occupied holy city of al-Quds as the Zionist entity's so-called ‘capital' back in December.
Meanwhile, the resistance movement is planning a mass protest on the Gaza border on Friday, coinciding with the occasion of Palestine's Earth Day, and urging Gaza residents to gather near the fence and march toward Zionist positions with the intent of crossing into the occupation entity.
