They reported that Monday's strikes also wounded eight others. The blaze erupted in a market after a strike targeted a nearby petrol station in el-Garrahi district, they said.

Saudi Arabia has been incessantly pounding Yemen since March 2015 in an attempt to crush the Ansarullah revolutionary movement and reinstate the former Yemeni president, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, a staunch ally of the Riyadh regime.

At least 13,600 people have lost their lives since the onset of Saudi Arabia's military campaign against Yemen in 2015. Much of the Arabian Peninsula country's infrastructure, including hospitals, schools and factories, has been reduced to rubble due to the war.

International rights groups accused the Saudi coalition of bombing civilian gatherings, markets, hospitals and residential areas across Yemen since the beginning of its air campaign.
