On the occasion of 1000 days since the Saudi-American aggression against Yemen and its people, Hezbollah issued the following statement:

Hezbollah after 1000 Days of Saudi War on Yemen: To Stop This Brutal War, Find Political Solution

It has been a thousand days since the Saudi-American aggression against Yemen and its people, and everyone and everything in it, in which during the thousand days we have seen three scenes as follows:

First: The scene of crimes, brutality, killings and unstoppable crimes that didn't spare a young or an old, as well as the destruction that didn't spare any mosque, hospital, school, market, village or town, and the tight siege which threatens millions with diseases, famine and death, with the Saudi insistence to continue the war until the end, and reject any acceptable and balanced political solution.

Second: The scene of endurance, heroism, stability and patience presented by the oppressed Yemeni people with its men, women, elderlies and kids, in addition to the resistance fighters of the army and popular committees on all the fronts of the battle; which can minimum be describes as a miracle or a legend.

Third: The astonishing and strange international, Islamic and Arab silence towards all those crimes and massacres; in which there is no voice, movement, stance or conscience; as if those whose bodies and the bodies of their children are torn apart in Yemen are not Arabs or even humans.

Hence, in front of those three scenes, we announce the following:

First: We renew our strong condemnation of this aggression and the Saudi insistence to continue it, and we demand that this brute and oppressive war stops and find an inclusive and quick political solution

Second: We stress our absolute support for the oppressed and patient Yemeni people and their wise leadership, and the brave heroes enduring all the mercenary armies that were brought from all over the world

Third: We call the Arab and Muslim peoples and all the leaderships, governments, parties, elites and people of conscience in the world to break the silence of the tombs and raise their voice high to stop this huge humanitarian catastrophe which has no similar one since decades

Finally: We tell the oppressed and resistance Yemeni people that the end of patience is victory and that "those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned."
