Catalonia Crisis: Puigdemont Released Conditionally

The former Catalan leader and his former advisers were released on condition, that they would not leave the country until the issue of their deportation to Spain is resolved.
Belgian court released ex-Catalan leader Carles Puigdemont, and several of his former advisers, on certain conditions, according to the vice president of the pro-independence organization Catalan National Assembly.
"Ex-Catalan head and his former advisers, who are accompanying him in Belgium, were released on condition, that they would not leave the country until the issue of their deportation to Spain is resolved," Agusti Alcoberro wrote on Twitter.
Earlier, former Catalan leader has fled to Belgium after the Spanish authorities sacked him and his administration in the wake of the declaration of Catalonia's independence.
On Thursday, a Spanish court ordered to put eight former members of the Catalan government into custody.
They are accused of organizing an uprising and embezzling state funds.
Former head of the Catalan government Carles Puigdemont has a chance to escape the punishment in Spain.
