Hezbollah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah met with the Director-General of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting [IRIB], Dr. Abdolali Ali-Askari and confirmed the role of the resistance media in the recent victories achieved by the Resistance front.
During their meeting on Thursday, both Sayyed Nasrallah and Dr. Askari stressed the importance of media presence in the resistance axis along with the fighters and the Mujahedeen in the battlefields and fronts, and their impact on achieving accomplishments and victories. They had also discussed the field and political developments in Syria, Iraq and Lebanon.
On the other hand, during his visit to Beirut, Askari met with a number of directors of the Federation of Radio and Islamic Channels, describing these media union institutions as the glory we cherish.
Askari said, "We kiss the hands of these dear ones; what they are accomplishing generates a sense of honor and glory," adding "In the light of the recent victories in Lebanon, Syria and Iraq, the role of the Resistance media cannot be ignored."
"As a member of the media union, the Iranian Radio and Television Foundation - with all its strength and capabilities - will stand alongside the brethren in the Union to reach the desired goal," Askari assured.
IRIB president went on to say, "The regime of world power, headed by angry America, are trying to strike the Islamic Republic, the revolution, Hezbollah and the resistance movements in the region, but their efforts have always failed."
"The victories achieved by the resistance front are a divine grace and the result of the devotion of the Mujahideen and Resistance fighters present in the field, especially the presence and courageous administration of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah alongside the leader of the Islamic Revolution," Askari said.
It is worth mentioning that the Federation of Radio and Islamic Channels includes 210 media organizations from 35 countries broadcasting in ten languages.
