During the years of the terrorist campaign against Syria, terror groups -with the encouragement from their sponsors and due to the setbacks and defeats these groups suffered - accused the Syrian state of using chemical weapons. The permanent aim of these accusations was and still is to turn the so-called international community against Syria and to inject new life into the project designed to overthrow the Syrian state.

The Lie About the Chemical Attack - The Deceptive Bombardment Practiced by Terrorists and Their Sponsors

The charges that were being marketed by the terrorist groups and promoted by the media from Arab and Western countries, which are sponsoring terrorism were rapidly unfolding, as they appeared to be mere baseless allegations and lies.

Moreover, it was proven that the terrorist groups used chemical weapons and poisonous gas against the Syrian army and civilians.

It has not been proven - not today nor on any other day- that Syria has used chemical weapons. What is certain and what all countries know is that Syria no longer possesses this weapon, while dozens of international reports confirm that terrorist groups possess large stockpiles of chemical weapons and poisonous gases.

The allegations that the Syrian army used chemical weapons during raids on the Khan Sheikhoun area were totally untrue. Such accusations involve an attempt to conceal the large losses suffered by the terrorists following the failure of the attack of the terrorist groups led by Jabhat Al Nusra (Nusra Front) on many Syrian fronts, particularly in the Hama countryside. This attack was used by the terrorist groups and their sponsors in a bid to tip the scales in their favor, after the situation was already decided for Syria and its allies, who scored great achievements and victories in the field.

Apart from covering up the losses of the terrorists and the failure of their attack, the accusation is also intended to take the light away from the US raid on civilians in Mosul that has caused hundreds of casualties, mostly women and children.

It is also clear that the allegations of the chemical bombing on the city of Khan Sheikhoun were accompanied by terrorist bombings targeting the metro stations in St. Petersburg, confirming that the terrorists operate in accordance with the "agenda" of global powers. The terrorist attack on the Russian city is a message being waved to pressure the Russian Federation, and the alleged chemical bombing of Khan Sheikhoun is an attempt to embarrass Russia over its support and backing for the Syrian state.

What is remarkable is that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan quickly adopted the accusations of terrorist factions labeled as the "opposition" and discussed them with Russian President Vladimir Putin during a telephone conversation where Erdogan offered his condolences to the victims of the terrorist bombing in St. Petersburg.

Investing in the allegations of the chemical attack has no limit. At the request of France and Britain, with the United States chairing the UN Security Council, the international body held a meeting to discuss the "chemical attack" in rural Idlib, which means that the accusations and allegations issued by the terrorist groups are coordinated internationally, regionally and across the Arab world, with multiple objectives.
