‘Israeli' occupation Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot warned that the Zionist entity faces serious threats on northern border, claiming that the ‘Israeli' occupation forces are monitoring 'regular use of chemical weapons' in Syria.

Eizenkot: Hezbollah is Our Number One Challenge

Eizenkot said Tuesday that the ‘Israeli' military was working to secure the nation's northern border, but warned that Hezbollah had become ‘Israel's' greatest security challenge.

"We are successfully keeping our northern border quiet, to maintain our interests in the north, and to prevent ‘terrorist groups' from gaining strength or acquiring advanced weapons," said Eizenkot in an address to a conference at Netanyahu Academic College.

Eizenkot further stressed that Hezbollah is the number one challenge facing his occupation forces, adding that ‘Israel' was paying close attention to "the regular use of tactical chemical weapons in the fighting in Syria."

On Monday, Hezbollah announced it had downed the ‘Israeli' unmanned aerial vehicle Skylark violating the Syrian space, releasing images of the destroyed drone.

The IOF acknowledged that one of its drones had fallen over the Syrian-occupied portion of the Golan Heights Sunday night, but claimed that no sensitive information could be recovered by Hezbollah from the aircraft.
