As the Al Khalifah regime's crackdown continues its "silencing" policy in Bahrain, as well as violating human rights and continuing to issue random aggressive sentences, the Al Khalifah security forces stormed the house of Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim in al-Diraz few months after revoking his citizenship.

Meanwhile, Bahrain scholars called people for gathering at the place.

In the context, Bahrain Mirror website noted that Bahraini regime forces fired tear gas near Sheikh Qassim's house.

Relatively, media sources reported that "clashes are still ongoing between the regime forces and the protesters in the al-Fida' Square to defend Ayatollah Qassim."

For their part, Bahraini activists said that "the regime forces sealed off all the ways leading to al-Diraz, the town which homes Sheikh Qassim's residence, and that military and security reinforcements have been dispatched to the area."

According to local sources, mosques and religious halls are raising the voice with the words of Allahu Akbar [God is Great].

Regime forces also attacked several surrounding houses where protesters were pausing.

Recent reports noted that angry protests have reached several towns following the attack, while citizens in al-Diraz performed noon prayers at the central protest scene off Sheikh Qassim’s house.
