Hizbullah issued the following statement:

Hizbullah condemns the sick and monstrous earth-shattering Daesh [Arabic acronym for "ISIS" / "ISIL"] massacre on the greatest day of Hajj.

Hizbullah Condemns Daesh’s Adha Eid Massacre

On the day of forgiveness, compassion and redemption when the hearts and souls are purified, a massacre of terrible scenes of slaughter, skinning and sacrilege of human body and soul instead of sacrificial animals has been committed.

This horrific massacre carried out by sick souls, distorted minds and hearts of stone is one of the worst crimes and murders entrenched in misanthropy.

A crime that even the darkest and worst stages of history had never witnessed before; rejected by reason and logic and denounced by the heart, feelings and emotions. It is a criminality against Islam and all other religions. It is a crime condemned by all Men.

Neither deprecating statements nor entreating people of thought and thriving consciences and souls are constructive with these brutal acts.

Nonetheless, calling Muslims to take a serious stance against this massive abuse of religion and its sacred symbols and blessed holidays are no longer productive with such a heinous criminality.

Accordingly, it is even useless to call on the international community and bodies to address this anomaly in human history.

Only war and fierce filed confrontation are apt replies for these bestial groups. It is a fight to the finish; until the seeds of evil, sedition and murder are eradicated.

The horrible silence that has engulfed the Islamic nation, countries, bodies, organizations and individuals, and the passiveness against the savage killers, are in turn accomplices in these unspeakable crimes against humanity.

Henceforth, silence and passiveness are no less dangerous than the crime itself, and all are held lawfully and morally responsible before God, the society and history.
