Nasrallah: July War Hit ‘Israel' in Its Soul

Lebanese newspapers on Monday focused on the speech that was delivered by Hizbullah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah on the tenth anniversary of the divine victory, when the resistance forces stood in face of the ‘Israeli' war launched against Lebanon and was able to defeat the ‘Israeli' forces and force it to stop the war in 33 days.

The papers touched on the topics Sayyed Nasrallah had covered in his speech, including the presidential impasse and the council of Ministers, while highlighting the "deterrence equation" that was imposed by Hizbullah, which has been protecting Lebanon and allowing it to live in peace.

AS-SAFIR: ‘Israel' Stands before New Equation...

As-Safir newspaper also in its turn touched on the speech that Hizbullah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah gave on the tenth anniversary of the July war victory. It pointed out that Sayed Nasrallah added new elements of strength to the equation imposed by the resistance, and that will put the ‘Israeli' military and political scopes before a new situation and make the ‘Israeli' regime think about every single word Sayed Nasrallah has said.

Also, the speech, according to the paper, has become a surprise box to the ‘Israelis' especially due to the experience and expertise the resistance has acquired in Syria and the other mattes that have been taking place during the past decade.

One of the important factors that can impact the morals of the ‘Israelis' is that Sayyed Nasrallah chose Bint Jbeil as the location for the event, where Hizbullah defeated the "deterrence ‘Israeli' equation" and opened a new page in the history of Lebanon in terms of confronting the "Israeli" and Takfiri threats.

During his speech, Sayyed Nasrallah stressed that the defeat era has gone, adding that the Zionist entity was hit during 2006 war in its spirit, arrogance and existence. Sayyed Nasrallah said that the "Israeli" enemy has been for decades waging a psychological war in which it convinced the Arabs that "Israel" is invincible; stressing that following July war this theory was over.

"In 2000, I said that ‘Israel' is weaker than a spider web. This statement was kept in the ‘Israelis' memories, and July war came to confirm this reality," Sayyed Nasrallah reiterated in his speech.

AL-BINAA: Oil Exploration New Element in Sayyed Nasrallah's Speech

Political sources told al-Binaa newspaper that "Sayyed Hassan's attempt to discuss the oil exploration equation in his speech is a new and significant move, which will make the ‘Israelis' think a thousand times before daring to put its hands on Lebanon's natural riches".
Simultaneously, the sources stressed that his remarks to the domestic arena was important as well, as he reiterated the importance of finishing all the required steps for Lebanon to start its oil exploration process.

Moreover, the sources pointed out that Sayyed Nasrallah urged the government to activate its work and carry its responsibilities, and stressed that these comments mean that Sayyed Nasrallah is well aware of the state of "bankruptcy" from which the government is suffering in light of the increasing crises in Lebanon.

Sayyed Nasrallah during his speech urged the government to bear its responsibility in dealing with the Lebanese issues, stressing that Lebanon should take decision to start drilling for gas and oil.

AN-NAHAR: Berri Supports Hariri, Says He Should Be Solution to Strife

Head of the Lebanese Parliament Nabih Berri considered that "Sayyed Nasrallah's" speech was positive in all its content. According to An-Nahar newspaper, his visitors had quoted him as saying that "since the time Saad Hariri endorsed head of the Marada party Suleiman Franjieh for presidency, I supported him (whether he was just or unjust)."

According to his visitors, Berri stressed that "The current phase and national interest requires that Hariri should become the Prime Minister and distance all elements of strife in the country."

Moreover, the paper disclosed that Berri has been "discussing with Hariri over the past month a new draft law for the parliamentary elections."
