Tunisia: Terrorists Planning ’Major Attack’ Smashed

Tunisian terror police swooped on an extremist cell accused of planning a "major attack" on tourist hotels in the Tunisian resort of Sousse, less than five months after a massacre there left 38 dead.
Some of the terrorists had been trained in Libya and Syria and were awaiting orders to carry out the assault at an unknown location in November.
In the terrorist's possession, Kalashnikov rifles, explosives and a bomb belt were seized during the arrests.
Tunisian Security chief Rafik Chelli said: "We have foiled a major attack this month that the terrorist cell was preparing against vital installations, hotels, security centers and against politicians to bring chaos to the country."
It is worth mentioning that the terrorist organization "ISIS" has claimed two attacks on Tunisia only the last year.
Earlier in March, armed members killed 21 tourists in an attack at the Bardo Museum in the capital city of Tunis, and 38 foreigners were killed at a beach hotel in Sousse by another gunman in June.
Separately, seven women were arrested in Tunisia on Monday for promoting "ISIS" propaganda in several online posts.
The country's interior ministry said the women had confessed to "activities within the media wing" of Jund al-Khilafa militant group, linked to both the Sousse and Bardo terrorist attacks.
