AL-AKHBAR: "ISIL" Will Adopt Massacre Again in Voice Recordings, Fourth Terrorist Fled the Scene

Sources from al-Qaeda organization told al-Akhbar newspaper Friday that the attacks that were carried out by terrorists in Beirut's southern suburb, the Dahiyeh, were planned and executed by "ISIL", noting that the statement that was circulating through social media was put out on purpose by the terrorist group. The newspaper was informed that another voice recording will be broadcast soon, in which "ISIL" adopts the terrorist operation that killed tens and injured hundreds of civilians.

Also, according to the paper, security sources said that a fourth suicide-bomber was arrested alive before he could detonate himself.

Sources said three bombers were at the scene, two of whom succeeded in detonating their explosives vests, while the third failed and was killed at the scene, while the fourth had fled as he was unable to carry out the operation.

The two suicide bombers who detonated their explosive belts on Thursday in the area of Burj al-Barajneh in Beirut's Southern suburb, leaving at least 41 martyrs and 211 injured. According to eyewitnesses, the blasts happened around 6 p.m. when the area gets overcrowded with the worshippers and the shoppers.

The attack was widely condemned by the Lebanese political parties and figures and labeled as terrorist acts which aim at challenging the social environment of the resistance and stirring the Sectarian sedition.

AL-BINAA: "ISIL" Revenging for Losses in Syria, Carries Out Massacre in Lebanon

Well-informed sources told al-Binaa daily on Friday that "the terrorists were receiving hard hits that caused imbalances in their presence in the region, and found themselves suddenly being kicked out of Northern Syria and therefore decided to strike the resistance people to divert attention from the Syrian events and the victories the Syrian army and its allies have been achieving."

The sources further added "the attacks had two aims; first to raise the morale of the terrorist groups, and second to revenge from the supporters of the resistance axis in Lebanon hoping that such would weaken the will of the fighters in Syria."

Moreover, the sources noted that Hizbullah's adherence to the Palestinian cause was angering "Israel" and the Takfiri terrorists, and that is why two Palestinian nationals were chosen to carry out the attack.

This, according to the paper, was made in hope that a rift will be quickly caused between the Palestinians and the Lebanese people living around the Palestinian camp of Burj area.

The source further stressed that the Palestinian cause will remain the first cause of concern to the resistance forces and its people.

AS-SAFIR: Peshmerga Forces Liberating Sinjar in a Week or Two

Kurdish military sources told As-Safir newspaper that "the fierce battles took place inside the town of Sinjar , where fights were taking place man to man and house to house, especially after the Peshmerga forces invaded the town from three different sides. "

The military sources added that the "ISIL" armed groups blew up the governmental buildings after evacuating them.

Iraqi Kurdish Peshmerga forces have managed to retake some positions from "ISIL" Takfiri group in northwestern Iraq as a fresh offensive is under way for taking back the strategic town of Sinjar.

Kurdish sources had earlier said that up to 7,500 Kurdish fighters would take part in the operation in Sinjar, a town located around 40 kilometers from the border with Syria, where "ISIL" carried out a brutal campaign of killings, enslavement and rape against the Izadi religious minority.

Another Kurdish source told the newspaper that liberating the city requires one to two weeks.

Around 300 to 400 "ISIL" forces are estimated to be still inside Sinjar. The liberation of the town would be a serious blow to the terrorist group as it cuts off the militants' supply line from Syria and would further isolate them in Mosul, Iraq's second largest city, which fell into the hands of the group last summer.
