Leader Calls on Nations to Stop US, "Israel"

MASHHAD--The Leader of Iranian Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei called on world's nations Thursday to stop the American and 'Israeli' crimes in the Middle East.
Addressing a crowd of pilgrims in the holy city of Mashhad, Iran's Leader said: "the West should draw lessons from the quagmire that the US got stuck in for its support of the 'Israeli' occupying regime in the region."
Ayatollah Khamenei warned of the US conspiracies to sow the seed of discord among Muslims, saying, "the US officials do not differentiate between Shiite and Sunnis in their animosities."
He referred to the Western slogans of democracy, saying "these claims have already proved false and wherever a democratic government is being elected against their will, they oppose the people's vote."
"Bullying powers have done everything in their power, from imposing economic sanctions to waging war and lunching espionage-war, to paralyze the Islamic Republic."
"However, the nation has continued to tread the path of scientific and social progress and I can see a bright future for the country in the fourth decade of the Islamic Revolution," the Leader added.
The Leader said the international community is well aware that the US allegations against Iran are baseless.
Ayatollah Khamenei called on Muslim nations to take a firm stand against those who out of their enmity for Islam violate religious sanctities.
