Sayed Ali Khamenei congratulates Muslims, wishes them prosperity and success

TEHRAN--Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei on Thursday called the new Iranian year as the year of "innovation".
In a televised address immediately after start of the New Year, Ayatollah Khamenei urged the nation to focus on innovation under sound management.
The leader said two goals in the New Year are expected, namely "innovation" in economic, political and cultural arenas and "flourishing" in various fields.
Pointing to the great achievements made by the Iranian nation in the past year, the leader called on Iranian officials and the nation to defend their national dignity and take major steps to improve the country's situation.
The Supreme Leader congratulated Iranian nation and Muslims on three auspicious occasions, including birth anniversaries of the Holy Prophet of Islam Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) and of his grandson Imam Jaafar Sadeq (AS) as well as the advent of the traditional Iranian Noruz celebrations, marking start of the New Iranian Year.
Ayatollah Khamenei wished Iranian nation further prosperity and success in the year.
