As-Safir Lebanese daily revealed Tuesday that the Lebanese Army [LA] has managed to arrested one of "ISIL" to Leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi's wives on Lebanon's border.
Based on LA sources, the daily highlighted that the army has managed, in coordination with Western intelligence agencies, to arrest one of Baghdadi's wives at one of the border crossings while traveling on a fake passport with her son.
She was taken to the Lebanese Defense Ministry where interrogation is ongoing, the report added.
The report said the Lebanese Army remained quiet about the arrest over the past few days, an achievement As-Safir considered was a "big fish" and a major blow to the "ISIL".
Moreover, as-Safir mentioned that the Lebanese security agencies transported her to the defense ministry's headquarters in Yarze for further investigations.
