Zionist Settlers Backed by ’Israeli’ Police Storm Aqsa Mosque in Al-Quds

Zionist settlers, backed by occupation police, stormed al-Aqsa Mosque in the city of occupied al-Quds on Thursday, sparking clashes with Palestinians who refuse the desecration of the holy mosque.
Palestinians intercepted the Zionist settlers, who were backed by the occupation police, media reports said. Fierce clashes were reported in the scene, injuring dozens of Palestinians.
Clashes were also reported in other neighborhoods across the occupied West Bank where "Israeli" occupation police shot live bullets and tear gas at Palestinians.
"Israel" occupied East al-Quds and the West Bank during the 1967 Middle East War. It later annexed the holy city in 1980, claiming it as the capital of the self-proclaimed Zionist entity - a move never recognized by the international community.
