A Cairo court sentenced an "Israeli" tried in absentia to life imprisonment and a Jordanian telecoms engineer to 10 years in jail for espionage on behalf of the Zionist regime on Wednesday.


Egypt Sentences Jordanian, ’Israeli’ for Spying for Zionist EntityBashar Ibrahim Abu Zeid from Jordan was arrested in April 2011 and accused of trying to recruit Egyptian engineers to help the Zionist regime intercept telephone calls in Egypt.
Abu Zeid was an engineer who has been detained in Egypt since 2011.

Meanwhile, the "Israeli," who is on the run, stands accused of working for the Zionist entity's spy agency, Mossad.

Egypt arrested "Israeli" Ilan Chaim Grabel in June 2011, accusing him of spying for Mossad.

Egypt and Jordan are the only Arab states to have signed peace treaties with the Zionist entity.
