Hizbullah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah declared that the Lebanese support for armed groups in Syria is still taking place.

Sayyed Nasrallah: Hizbullah’s Fighting in Qalamoun, Quseir Prevented ’ISIL’ from Reaching BeirutIn an interview with al-AKhbar Lebanese daily, His Eminence reiterated that Hizbullah's fighting in al-Quseir and al-Qalamoun regions prevented the so-called "Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant" from reaching Beirut.

"If we hadn't fought in al-Quseir and al-Qalamoun, ISIL would have reached Beirut and coastal regions," Sayyed Nasrallah said in the second excerpts of the interview.

He continued discussion over the presence and power of fighters in Syria: "The Lebanese support for armed groups in Syria is still taking place, and it includes arming and guiding them."

He further highlighted that "the fear of danger is growing and people are now more approving of our fight against takfiris."
"Wherever there is support for takfiri ideology, there is a supporting ground that favors "ISIL" presence," he added.
This is happening in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, other Gulf countries, Turkey, and Kurdistan, he pointed out.

Sayyed Nasrallah added: "Turkey and Qatar support ISIL and I am convinced that Saudi Arabia fears the group."
"We are to be present anywhere to defend the resistance axis," His Eminence vowed, noting that "any help that Hizbullah provides is away from sectarian calculations."

On the "Israeli" side, Sayyed Nasrallah affirmed that Hizbullah doesn't threaten with anything that it can't abide with.
He further confirmed that Gaza war delayed the "Israeli" war with Lebanon.
