Hizbullah Hails Lebanese Gov’t Support to LA

Commenting on the Lebanese government's position regarding the recent developments in Arsal, Hizbullah issued the following statement:
Hizbullah praises the firm stance of the Lebanese government, read by PM Tamam Salam, in its yesterday [Monday] meeting over the events in Arsal.
The stance confirms the national consensus on supporting the Lebanese Army [LA] in the face of takfiri terror and confronts attempts to sabotage civil peace and violate Lebanon's sovereignty by foreign militants.
In parallel, Hizbullah praises local media outlets for deciding to back the Army and refraining from broadcasting or printing anything that might harm or lead to the LA's attenuation in addition to serving the terrorists.
Once again, Hizbullah affirms that addressing militarily developments on the ground, protecting civilians and confronting terrorist groups are exclusively the responsibility of the Lebanese Army.
Hizbullah did not intervene in what happened or is happening in Arsal.
