Senior Security Official to Al-Ahed: LA to Continue Battle against Terrorism

A senior security source confirmed on Monday that "the LA's battle with the armed groups in Arsal continue to target the head of the terrorist groups."
The source further affirmed that "the Lebanese Army is determined to fight and beat terrorism wherever it was."
"The offense against the military institution is blatant and flagrant," he added.
In an interview with al-Ahed news, the source stressed that "regardless of the political and disturbing voices, the army will not tolerate whatever the prices were."
"Is there are prices more expensive than the blood of the martyrs that seek the protection of home?" he wondered.
The source pointed out that "the LA has recently sent a letter to the Council of Ministers, emphasizing that the Syrian refugees in Arsal are not displaced, but fighters and terrorists."
"What happened recently proved what we have been wary of," he said, and stressed that "the battle with these extremist groups will escalate, waiting for people of Arsal to flee the town."
