Sayyed Nasrallah Receives MP Franjieh, Discuss Latest Developments

Hizbullah Secretary General, His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, received leader of the Marada party, MP Suleiman Franjieh. Sayyed Nasrallah and Franjieh discussed developments in Lebanon and the region.

"During the meeting, general developments in Lebanon and the region were discussed, especially the Zionist offensive on the Gaza strip and the "Israeli" crimes committed against the Palestinian people," the Hizbullah media relations said in a statement on Saturday.

The two sides stressed on supporting the resistance and the people in Gaza, who are standing steadfastly against the "Israeli" aggressions, the statement added.
MP Franjieh was accompanied by his son, Tony and the lawyer Youssef Fenyanos, while the political assistant of Sayyed Nasrallah, Hussein al-Khalil and Head of the Coordination and Liaison Unit Wafiq Safa attended the meeting.

On the Iraqi situation, the statement said Sayyed Nasrallah and MP Franjieh condemned the displacement of Christians of Mosul by the Takfiris, stressing on the "importance of defending the unity of Iraq, its sectarian structure and the political diversity.

On the Lebanese developments, the two sides have common points of view regarding exerting efforts in a bid to safeguard political and security stability in the country.
