Imam Khamenei on Eid al-Fitr: Gaza Top Issue for Muslim World

The congregational prayer began at 8:30 AM local time Tuesday in Tehran at Imam Khomeini Great Prayer Hall (Mosalla). A massive congregation of people attended to perform the prayer there, marking the end of fasting month of Ramadan.
Once the Eid al-Fitr prayer came to an end, Leader of the Revolution Syayed Ali Khamenei delivered the sermons of the prayer.

Addressing the worshippers, Ayatollah Khamenei first expressed his felicitations to all Muslims throughout the world, Iranians in particular, on the occasion of the great Eid. "The auspicious Eid al-Fitr is the feast of offering thanks to God Almighty," he said.

The leader hailed the massive turnout of the Iranian people in the rallies honoring the International Quds Day (the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan) in support of the Palestinian cause.

Further Imam Khamenei pointed to the recent atrocities going on in Gaza saying that "today the issue of Gaza is prime issue for the Muslim world and the most important issue for humanity," and that "today a rabid dog and a wolf predator [Israel] attacked innocent human beings and is committing genocide and infanticide in Gaza; mankind should show due reaction to it,"

Ayatollah Khamenei continued calling on all freedom-seekers of the world to condemn and put on trial the leaders of this crime, the Zionist regime's leaders and their supporters.

"Gaza is resisting bravely. I tell you that in the end, God willing, Gazans will gain victory against the enemy," asserted the Leader addressing the worshippers of Eid prayers and added that "every 24-hour a day, from four corners people in the besieged land are under attacks of the wicked and filthy "Israeli" regime while these innocent people have no help."

Ayatollah Khamenei stated that "Israel is deeply regretting having attacked Gaza and her supporters will do anything to help her with a truce."
Imam Khamenei further reiterated that unlike what US said about disarming Hamas and the Islamic Jihad, "the entire world especially the Muslim world, all are responsible to arm Palestine as much as they can."
Ayatollah Khamenei mentioned the Palestinian mothers suffering due to the "Israeli" infanticide in Gaza, and put emphasis on the Resistance victory despite all supports for the atrocities by "Israelis".

Late founder of the Islamic Revolution's - Imam Khomeini - grandson Hojjatoleslam Hassan Khomeini, President Hassan Rouhani, Judiciary Chief Sadegh Amoli Larijani, Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani, Chairman of the Expediency Council Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani and a lot of other Iranian top-ranking officials as well as ambassadors from Islamic countries were among senior officials attending the event.

Eid al-Fitr marks the end of fasting month of Ramadan. It is one of the most important religious holidays celebrated by Muslims all over the world.
