Egypt Opens Rafah Border to Injured Palestinians

Egypt opened its Rafah border crossing to seized Gaza on Thursday to receive injured Palestinians as "Israel" continues to bomb the enclave with airstrikes, an official at the border said.
Egypt's official MENA news agency reported that hospitals in north Sinai, which borders seized Gaza, have been placed on standby to receive the Palestinians.
Rafah is seized Gaza's only border crossing that bypasses "Israel," which continues to bomb the besieged enclave for the third consecutive day.
The crossing is usually closed, with Egyptian officials citing the tense security situation in Sinai, where the army is battling an extremist insurgency.
"Israeli" airstrikes have killed at least 70 people since the Zionist operation began on Monday, including 11 women and 18 children, according to medical reports.
"Israel" launched an aerial offensive on the seized Gaza Strip on Monday, which continues into its third consecutive day.
