Health of Palestinian Hunger Strikers Deteriorate

The health condition of Palestinian hunger strikers in "Israeli" jails has become worsen as they continue their strike for the 25th day.
Knowing that around 150 Palestinian detainees in "Israeli" jails went on this strike on April 24 to protest their administrative detention.
Inmates said through a post on Facebook that they would not give up their hunger strike unless extreme weakness.
The Palestinian minister of prisoners' affairs Essa Qaraqie said on Sunday that the physical conditions of the hunger striking prisoners "worsen every day", adding that some striker have already been transferred to the hospitals.
Qaraqie further stated that the Palestinians have sent letters to the UN and International Human Rights Council, asking them to intervene in order to end "Israeli" administrative detention.
According to the "Israeli" so-called "B'Tselem" watchdog, prison officials took harsh measures against the Palestinian strikers and put some of them in solitary confinement.
