Imam Khamenei: Iran Won’t Bow, US unable to Paralyze Us

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Relation His Eminence Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei confirmed that the Islamic Republic would not bow to the West's pressure in nuclear talks with world powers.
Imam Khamenei urged the Iranian officials to boost economic, scientific and military capabilities through increased efforts at home, saying the country would follow the "correct" path in negotiations.
"Powers should know that the Iranian nation will not bow," under pressure, state television quoted His Eminence as saying.
He further stated: "If we activate domestic potential and focus on local capabilities, the US and other powers will not be capable of doing a damn thing, whether military or non-military."
"Powers must know that the Iranian nation will never be brought to its knees because the Iranian nation is a lively nation, and the country's youth are treading the right path," Imam Khamenei added.
By paying heed to such facts and realities, the Leader noted the iconic remark by the founder of the Islamic Republic, the late Imam Khomeini, that "America cannot do a damn thing" can be realized.
The next round of high-level negotiations between Tehran and six world powers will begin Wednesday, aiming to reach a final agreement to limit Iran's ability to produce nuclear weapons before a July 20 deadline.
