A European Union official termed as ‘useful' the latest round of expert-level talks between Iran and P5+1 countries on Iran's nuclear energy program, as "Israel" expressed concern over the final comprehensive deal, according to Reuters on Thursday.

EU Official: 6 Powers & Iran Hold Useful Nuclear Talks, “Israel” Fretful

"[The six powers] and Iranian technical experts had a useful meeting on 6-7 May in New York," Reuters cited an EU spokesman as saying on Thursday.
"The talks aimed at further deepening of the knowledge on the issues and to contribute to the preparations for the next round of [senior-level] negotiations on a comprehensive agreement due to take place next week in Vienna," the EU spokesman added.

Experts from Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council - Russia, China, France, Britain and the US - plus Germany held expert-level talks on Tuesday and Wednesday in New York.
The negotiations were held ahead of a fresh round of high-level nuclear talks between Iran and the six powers, scheduled to begin in the Austrian capital of Vienna on May 13.

Meanwhile, "Israel" expressed concern over the prospect of Iran and the P5+1 countries reaching a final comprehensive deal over Iran's nuclear energy program, according to Reuters on Wednesday.

"We would be happy to see July 20 pass without a deal," an adviser to the "Israeli" regime told Reuters on Wednesday, referring to the deadline by which Iran and the six world powers are aiming to reach a final agreement on Tehran's nuclear energy program.

On US National Security Adviser Susan Rice's ongoing visit to Tel Aviv, the "Israeli" official said the regime insists Iran be denied uranium enrichment capabilities under any potential deal.

"Israel's" allegations against Iran come as the Tel Aviv regime, which is widely believed to be the only possessor of nuclear arms in the Middle East, reportedly maintains between 200 and 400 atomic warheads.
