Syrian Army Foils Terrorists’ Infiltration Attempts Across Syria

Army units carried out military operations against the dens and gatherings of terrorist groups, causing heavy losses upon them in several areas across Syria, a military source told Sana on Tuesday.

The Army units foiled terrorists' infiltration attempts through military operations against terrorist groups in the areas of Lattakia, Aleppo, Daraa, and Homs in Syria on Tuesday.

In Lattakia, the Army units foiled the terrorists' attempt to attack Point 45 in the northern countryside. The military source clarified that the army units forced the terrorists to retreat by chasing down the fleeing members with heavy fire towards the northeastern side.
The army units also directed blows at the armed terrorist groups, destroying their weapons and leaving a large number of terrorists killed, the source added.
In Aleppo, the Army units foiled an attempt by a terrorist group to infiltrate the north of Aziza village, killing many of the terrorist group members and injuring others.

In Daraa, Army units foiled an attempt to infiltrate into Kherbet Ghazaleh village and another attempt to attack military checkpoints in Daraa, killing many terrorists and leaving others wounded.
The military source added that they destroyed a vehicle equipped with a heavy machinegun during their targeting of the terrorists groups.
Another army unit targeted a gathering of the terrorists' vehicles in the area, whereby a number of terrorists were killed, others wounded, and their vehicles were completely destroyed.

In Homs, Army units killed dozens of terrorists in several villages. An army unit foiled a terrorists' infiltration attempt, killing many terrorists and injuring others.
