In a new violation against the Holy al-Aqsa mosque, "Israeli" police stormed Tuesday the Islamic compound in Occupied al-Quds.

’Israel’ Storms Al-Aqsa

This comes as the "Israeli" Knesset is to debate in the evening a bill introduced by Moshe Feiglin, a hardline member of "Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party.

The bill aims to envisage the "application of "Israeli" sovereignty" over the Aqsa mosque.

The "Israeli" army had also targeted the worshippers, including women and children, throwing stun grenades and rubber bullets indiscriminately on them.
According to the "Israeli" army's spokesman, Micky Rosenfeld, the Zionist enemy's police used "means of dispersion" against the protesters.

He further added that there was "high tension" ahead of discussions in the "Israeli" parliament later on Tuesday of a plan to annex the Holy site.

In parallel, Rosenfeld claimed that stones thrown by the Palestinians injured two policemen while three protesters were arrested.
"Police remain deployed at the Temple Mount and visits by tourists are continuing," he said.

Around 50 Palestinians had spent the night inside al-Aqsa in protest of the "Israeli" Knesset debate.

Their protest was also in reaction to reports that "Israeli" rightist organizations had announced plans to raise "Israeli" flags inside the al-Aqsa complex.

The Palestinian Authority and the resistance movement of Hamas have warned against "Israeli" plans to impose "sovereignty" on the al-Aqsa Mosque.
