Meanwhile, Caretaker Health Minister Ali Hassan Khalil was among the first officials to arrive to the area of the blast to inspect the damage.

He ordered the hospitals to treat the injured at the expense of the ministry.

Sources revealed that the blasts, only minutes apart, blew up only meters away from the Iranian Embassy.

However, the nature of the blasts was not immediately known.
Tuesday's blast was the third that rocked Beirut's Dahyieh in five months.

For his part, Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc Member MP Ali Ammar slammed the terrorist bombing that rocked the region.

He further stated that this blast reflects a clear terrorist crime perpetrated by a terrorist monster launched by some of the Arabs.

"No matter how much they try, they will fail," said MP Ali Mekdad on the blast scene.
