Koreas Begin Talks on Family Reunion

South and North Korea began working on the level of the Red Cross on Friday to reunite families separated by the 1950-53 Korean War.
Three-member delegates from both sides started dialogue at the Peace House in the South Korean side of the truce village of Panmunjom.
The Red Cross officials are expected to discuss a date, venue and participants for the family reunion.
For her part, South Korean President Park Geun-hye stated that she hopes that the reunion could be held around one of the most important traditional holidays in South Korea on September 19.
Moreover, Lee added that the delegates will do their best to alleviate pains of separated families by holding talks sincerely.
