Celebrating Dahyieh’s Terrorist Bombing: Far from Humanity
Local Editor
Soon after the terrorist bombing rocked Roweis in Dahyieh [ the southern suburbs of Beirut], some social media outlets and websites were busy broadcasting images of celebrations in more than one Lebanese territory.
Away from any humanitarian considerations and sympathy with the families of martyrs and the injured and in neglect to any national responsibility, some people decided to celebrate the death and tragedy of their partners in their homeland.
They further noted to shootings of joy, which later led to the death of a civilian.
Meanwhile, the Head of "Iqraa" [Read] Association, the Salafist Sheikh Bilal Duqmaq justified the unethical act in Bab Tabbaneh by claiming that the "Dahyieh residents distributed desserts after the killing of al-Qaeda leader, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi."
He further expected that "one of the factions supporting the "Syrian Revolution" is responsible for the attack," because of what he called "the poison cooked by the Secretary General of Hizbullah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in Syria."
In Tariq Jadedeh, the stronghold of the Future Movement, the happy celebrators distributed sweets under the sight of the blue Party's leaders, cheering the tragedy and the fall of innocent civilians.
On its Facebook page, "The Tariq Jadedeh News Network" was full of incitement, mockery, and ridicule terms in addition to hundreds of insults against the resistance and its people. The level of the comments was worse than bad. They were empty from any aspect of humanity.
From Lebanon to Raqqa in Syria, a "YouTube" clip showed people distributing desserts after hearing the news of the explosion in the Dahyieh. They further carried a paper reading: "the distribution of desserts on the occasion of targeting the Southern Suburbs."
