British Prime Minister David Cameron agrees to the "candid assessment" by the US that President Bashar al-Assad allegedly used chemical weapons against insurgents in the Syrian conflict.

In an interview with the

"We do [share the US judgment]. I discussed this with President Obama on my recent visit. We share their view that, as we put it, growing levels of information about chemical weapons used by the regime," the PM claimed.

However, a Russian reporter who visited Syria delivered video footage on a chemical attack organized by the so-called Syrian opposition near Aleppo on March 19 to the UN Secretariat.

The special correspondent of the Russian State Broadcasting Company VGTRK, Anastasia Popova said she had submitted to the UN Secretariat the video materials she had filmed during one of her recent trips to the country.

The footage proved that the Syrian insurgents indeed used the nerve agent on the Aleppo attack.

Moreover, several videos circulated on YouTube by a so-called Wind Isber Chemical Battalion showed fighters experimenting on a rabbit using a nerve agent, and threatened to strike areas in Syria.
